13：22反倒回来，在耶和华禁止你吃饭喝水的地方吃了喝了，因此你的尸身不得入你列祖的坟墓。
But camest back； and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place； of the which the Lord did say to thee； Eat no bread； and drink no water； thy carcase shall not e unto the sepulchre of thy fathers。
13：23吃喝完了，老先知为所带回来的先知备驴。
And it came to pass； after he had eaten bread； and after he had drunk； that he saddled for him the ass； to wit； for the prophet whom he had brought back。
13：24他就去了，在路上有个狮子遇见他，将他咬死，尸身倒在路上，驴站在尸身旁边，狮子也站在尸身旁边。
And when he was gone； a lion met him by the way； and slew him： and his carcase was cast in the way； and the ass stood by it； the lion also stood by the carcase。
13：25有人从那里经过，看见尸身倒在路上，狮子站在尸身旁边，就来到老先知所住的城里述说这事。
And； behold； men passed by； and saw the carcase cast in the way； and the lion standing by the carcase： and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt。
13：26那带神人回来的先知听见这事，就说，这是那违背了耶和华命令的神人，所以耶和华把他交给狮子。狮子抓伤他，咬死他，是应验耶和华对他说的话。
And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof； he said； It is the man of God； who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD： therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion； which hath torn him； and slain him； according to the word of the LORD； which he spake unto him。
13：27老先知就吩咐他儿子们说，你们为我备驴。他们就备了驴。
And he spake to his sons； saying； Saddle me the ass。 And they saddled him。
13：28他去了，看见神人的尸身倒在路上，驴和狮子站在尸身旁边，狮子却没有吃尸身，也没有抓伤驴。
And he went and found his carcase cast in the way； and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase： the lion had not eaten the carcase； nor torn the ass。
13：29老先知就把神人的尸身驮在驴上，带回自己的城里，要哀哭他，葬埋他。
And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God； and laid it upon the ass； and brought it back： and the old prophet came to the city； to mourn and to bury him。
13：30就把他的尸身葬在自己的坟墓里，哀哭他，说，哀哉。我兄阿。
And he laid his carcase in his own grave； and they mourned over him； saying； Alas； my brother！
13：31安葬之后，老先知对他儿子们说，我死了，你们要葬我在神人的坟墓里，使我的尸骨靠近他的尸骨，
And it came to pass； after he had buried him； that he spake to his sons； saying； When I am dead； then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried； lay my bones beside his bones：
13：32因为他奉耶和华的命，指着伯特利的坛，和撒马利亚各城有邱坛之殿所说的话必定应验。
For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel； and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria； shall surely e to pass。
13：33这事以后，耶罗波安仍不离开他的恶道，将凡民立为邱坛的祭司。凡愿意的，他都分别为圣，立为邱坛的祭司。
After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way； but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places： whosoever would； he consecrated him； and he became one of the priests of the high places。
13：34这事叫耶罗波安的家陷在罪里，甚至他的家从地上除灭了。
And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam； even to cut it off； and to destroy it from off the face of the earth。

14：1那时，耶罗波安的儿子亚比雅病了。
At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick。
14：2耶罗波安对他的妻说，你可以起来改装，使人不知道你是耶罗波安的妻，往示罗去，在那里有先知亚希雅。他曾告诉我说，你必作这民的王。
And Jeroboam said to his wife； Arise； I pray thee； and disguise thyself； that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam； and get thee to Shiloh： behold； there is Ahijah the prophet； which told me that I should be king over this people。
14：3现在你要带十个饼，与几个薄饼，和一瓶蜜去见他，他必告诉你儿子将要怎样。
And take with thee ten loaves； and cracknels； and a cruse of honey； and go to him： he shall tell thee what shall bee of the child。
14：4耶罗波安的妻就这样行，起身往示罗去，到了亚希雅的家。亚希雅因年纪老迈，眼目发直，不能看见。
And Jeroboam's wife did so； and arose； and went to Shiloh； and came to the house of Ahijah。 But Ahijah could not see； for his eyes were set by reason of his age。
14：5耶和华先晓谕亚希雅说，耶罗波安的妻要来问你，因她儿子病了，你当如此如此告诉她。她进来的时候必装作别的妇人。
And the LORD said unto Ahijah； Behold； the wife of Jeroboam eth to ask a thing of thee for her son； for he is sick： thus and thus shalt thou say unto her： for it shall be； when she eth in； that she shall feign herself to be another woman。
14：6她刚进门，亚希雅听见她脚步的响声，就说，耶罗波安的妻，进来吧。你为何装作别的妇人呢。我奉差遣将凶事告诉你。
And it was so； when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet； as she came in at the door； that he said； e in； thou wife of Jeroboam； why feignest thou thyself to be another？ for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings。
14：7你回去告诉耶罗波安说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，我从民中将你高举，立你作我民以色列的君，
Go； tell Jeroboam； Thus saith the LORD God of Israel； Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people； and made thee prince over my people Israel；
14：8将国从大卫家夺回赐给你。你却不效法我仆人大卫，遵守我的诫命，一心顺从我，行我眼中看为正的事。
And rent the kingdom away from the house of David； and gave it thee： and yet thou hast not been as my servant David； who kept my mandments； and who followed me with all his heart； to do that only which was right in mine eyes；
14：9你竟行恶，比那在你以先的更甚，为自己立了别神，铸了偶像，惹我发怒，将我丢在背后。
But hast done evil above all that were before thee： for thou hast gone and made thee other gods； and molten images； to provoke me to anger； and hast cast me behind thy back：
14：10因此，我必使灾祸临到耶罗波安的家，将属耶罗波安的男丁，无论困住的，自由的都从以色列中剪除，必除尽耶罗波安的家，如人除尽粪土一般。
Therefore； behold； I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam； and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall； and him that is shut up and left in Israel； and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam； as a man taketh away dung； till it be all gone。
14：11凡属耶罗波安的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鸟吃。这是耶和华说的。
Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat； and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat： for the LORD hath spoken it。
14：12所以你起身回家去吧。你的脚一进城，你儿子就必死了。
Arise thou therefore； get thee to thine own house： and when thy feet enter into the city； the child shall die。
14：13以色列众人必为他哀哭，将他葬埋。凡属耶罗波安的人，惟有他得入坟墓。因为在耶罗波安的家中，只有他向耶和华以色列的神显出善行。
And all Israel shall mourn for him； and bury him： for he only of Jeroboam shall e to the grave； because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam。
14：14耶和华必另立一王治理以色列。到了日期，他必剪除耶罗波安的家。那日期已经到了。
Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel； who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day： but what？ even now。
14：15耶和华必击打以色列人，使他们摇动，像水中的芦苇一般。又将他们从耶和华赐给他们列祖的美�
