只有一位 神，在 神和人中间，只有一位中保，乃是降世为人的基督耶稣（提前2：5）。 以色列啊，你要听！耶和华我的 神是独一的主（申6：4）。中保本不是为一面作的， 神却是一位（加3：20）。我们与我们的祖宗一同犯罪，我们作了孽，行了恶。我们的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，不记念你丰盛的慈爱。所以他说要灭绝他们，若非有他所拣选的摩西站在当中，使他的忿怒转消，恐怕他就灭绝他们（诗106：6，7，23）。
同蒙天召的圣洁弟兄啊，你们应当思想我们所认为

在圣灵里祷告（犹20）。 神是个灵，所以拜他的，必须用心灵和诚实拜他（约4：24）。我们被一个圣灵所感，得以进到父面前（弗2：18）。 我父啊，倘若可行，求你叫这杯离开我；然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思（太26：39）。 我们的软弱有圣灵帮助，我们本不晓得当怎样祷告，只是圣灵亲自用说不出来的叹息替我们祷告。鉴察人心的，晓得圣灵的意思，因为圣灵照着 神的旨意替圣徒祈求（罗8：16，17）。我们若照他的旨意求什么，他就听我们，这是我们向他所存坦然无惧的心（约壹5：14）。只等真理的圣灵来了，他要引导你们明白一切的真理（约16：13）。 靠着圣灵，随时多方祷告祈求，并要在此儆醒不倦，为众圣徒祈求（弗6：18）。 Praying in the Holy Ghost。 God is a Spirit： and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth。 — We 。。。 have access by one Spirit unto the Father。 O my Father； if it be possible； let this cup pass from me： nevertheless not as I will； but as thou wilt。 The Spirit 。。。 helpeth our infirmities： for we know not what we should pray for as we ought： but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered。 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit； because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God。 — This is the confidence that we have in him； that； if we ask any thing according to his will； he heareth us。 — When he； the Spirit of truth； is e； he will guide you into all truth。 Praying always with all prayer and supplicat
