你们的生命是什么呢？你们原来是一片云雾，出现少时就不见了（雅4：14）。 我的日子比跑信的更快，急速过去，不见福乐。我的日子过去如快船，如急落抓食的鹰（伯9：25，26）。你叫他们如水冲去，他们如睡一觉。早晨他们如生长的草，早晨发芽生长，晚上割下枯干（诗90：5，6）。人为妇人所生，日子短少，多有患难。出来如花，又被割下（伯14：1，2）。 这世界和其上的情欲都要过去，惟独遵行 神旨意的，是永远常存（约壹2：17）。 天地都要灭没，你却要常存；天地都要如外衣渐渐旧了，你要将天地如里衣更换，天地就都改变了。惟有你永不改变，你的年数没有穷尽（诗102：26，27）。耶稣基督昨日今日一直到永远，是一样的（来13：8）。 What is your life？ It is even a vapour； that appeareth for a little time； and then vanisheth away。 My days are swifter than a post： they flee away； they see no good。 They are passed away as the swift ships： as the eagle that hasteth to the prey。 — Thou carriest them away as with a flood； they are as a sleep 。。。 in the morning they are like grass which groweth up。 In the morning it flourisheth； and groweth up： in the evening it is cut down； and withereth。 — Man that is born of a woman is of few days； and full of trouble。 He eth forth like a flower； and is cut down。

我要用灵歌唱，也要用悟性歌唱（林前14：15）。 乃要被圣灵充满。当用诗章、颂词、灵歌彼此对说，口唱心和地赞美主（弗5：18…19）。把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里，用诗章、颂词、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，心被恩感，歌颂 神（西3：1．6）。 我的口要说出赞美耶和华的话，惟愿凡有血气的，都永永远远称颂他的圣名（诗145：21）。 你们要赞美耶和华！因歌颂我们的 神为善为美，赞美的话是合宜的。要以感谢向耶和华歌唱，用琴向我们的 神歌颂（诗147：1，7）。 我听见从天上有声音，象众水的声音和大雷的声音，并且我所听见的好象弹琴的所弹的琴声（启14：2）。 I will sing with the spirit； and I will sing with the understanding also。 Be filled with the Spirit； speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs； singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord。 — Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom； teaching and ad…monishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs； singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord。 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD： and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever。 Praise ye the LORD： for it is good to sing praises unto our God； for it is pleasant； and praise is ely。 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving； sing praise upon the harp unto our God。 I heard a voice from heaven； as the voice of many waters； and as the voice of a great thunder； and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps。 I COR。 14：15。 Eph。 5：18；19。 …Col。 3：16。 Psa。 145：21。 Psa。 147：1；7。 Rev。 14：2。

他要按手在燔祭牲的头上，燔祭便蒙悦纳，为他赎罪（利1：4）。 知道你们得赎、脱去你们祖宗所传流虚妄的行为，不是凭着能坏的金银等物，乃是凭着基督的宝血，如同无瑕疵、无玷污的羔羊之血（彼前l：18，19）。他被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪（彼前2：24）。 神的恩典，是他在爱子里所赐给我们的（弗1：6）。
你们就象活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督奉献 神所悦纳的灵祭（彼前2：5）。弟兄们，我以 神的慈悲劝你们，将身体献上，当作活祭，是圣洁的，是 神所喜悦的，你们如此事奉，乃是理所当然的（罗工2：1）。

凡事受过试探与我们一样，只是没有犯罪（来4：15）。 于是，女人见那棵树的果子好做食物（肉体的情欲），也悦人眼目（眼目的情欲），且是可喜爱的，能使人有智慧（今生的骄傲），就摘下果子来吃了；又给她丈夫，她丈夫也吃了（创3：6）。 那试探人的进前来，对他说：你若是 神的儿子，可以吩咐这些石头变成食物（肉体的情欲）。耶稣却回答说：人活着，不是单靠食物，乃是靠 神口里所出的一切话。魔鬼将世上的万国与万国的荣华都指给他看（眼目的情欲和今生的骄傲）。耶稣说：撒但退去吧（太4：3，4，8，10）！ 他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：18）。忍受试探的人是有福的（雅1：12）。 In all points tempted like as we are； yet without sin。 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food （the lust of the flesh）； and that it was pleasant to the eyes （the lust of the eyes）； and a tree to be desired to make one wise （the pride of life）； she took of the fruit thereof； and did eat； and gave also unto her husband with her； and he did eat。
When the tempter came to ＇Jesus＇； he said； if thou be
