信就是所望之事的实底，是未见之事的确据（来11：1）。
我们若靠基督只在今生有指望，就算比众人更可怜
（林前15：19）。 神为爱他的人所预备的，是眼睛未曾看见，耳朵未曾听见，人心也未曾想到的。只有 神藉着圣灵向我们显明了（林前2：9，10）。既然信他，就受了所应许的圣灵为印记。这圣灵是我们得基业的凭据，直等到 神之民被赎（弗l：13，14）。 耶稣对他说：你因看见了我才信；那没有看见就信的有福了（约20：29）。你们虽然没有见过他，却是爱他。如今虽不得看见，却因信他就有说不出来、满有荣光的大喜乐，并且得着你们信心的果效，就是灵魂的救恩（彼前l：8，9）。 我们行事为人是凭着信心，不是凭着眼见（林后5：7）。所以，你们不可丢弃勇敢的心，存这样的心必得大赏赐（来l0：35）。 Faith is the substance of things hoped for； the evidence of things not seen。 If in this life only we have hope in Christ； we are of all men most miserable。 Eye hath not seen； nor ear heard； neither have entered into the heart of man； the things which God hath prepared for them that love him。 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit。 — After that ye believed ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise； which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession。 Jesus saith unto him； Thomas； because thou hast seen me； thou hast believed； blessed are they that have not seen； and yet have believed。 — Whom having not seen； ye love； in whom； though now ye see him not； yet believing； ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory： receiving the end of your faith； even the salvation of your souls。 We walk by faith； not by sight。 — Cast not away therefore your confidence； which hath great repence of reward。 HEB。 11：1。 I Cor。 15：19。 I Cor。 2：9；10。 …Eph。 1：13；14。 …John 20：29。 …I Pet。 1：8；9。 II Cor。 5：7。 …Heb。 10：35。

是我，不要怕（约6：20）！ 我一看见，就仆倒在他脚前，像死了一样。他用右手按着我说：不要惧怕！我是首先的，我是末后的，又是那存活的。我曾死过，现在又活了，直活到永永远远，并且拿着死亡和阴间的钥匙（启1：17，18）。惟有我为自己的缘故涂抹你的过犯，我也不记念你的罪恶（赛43：25）。祸哉！我灭亡了！……因我眼见大君王万军之耶和华。有一撒拉弗飞到我跟前，手里拿着红炭，是用火剪从坛上取下来的，将炭沾我的口，说：看哪！这炭沾了你的嘴，你的罪孽便除掉，你的罪恶就赦免了（赛6：5…7）。我涂抹了你的过犯，像厚云消散；我涂抹了你的罪恶，如薄云灭没。你当归向我，因我救赎了你（赛44：22）。若有人犯罪，在父那里我们有一位中保，就是那义者耶稣基督（约壹2：1）。
It is I； be not afraid。

神的儿子显现出来，为要除灭魔鬼的作为（约壹3：8）。 我们并不是与属血气的争战，乃是与那些执政的、掌权的、管辖这幽暗世界的，以及天空属灵气的恶魔争战（弗6：12）。儿女既同有血肉之体，他也照样亲自成了血肉之体，特要藉着死，败坏那掌死权的，就是魔鬼（来2：14）。既将一切执政的掌权的掳来，明显给众人看，就仗着十字架夸胜（西2：15）。我听见在天上有大声音说：我 神的救恩、能力、国度，并他基督的权柄，现在都来到了，因为那在我们 神面前昼夜控告我们弟兄的，已经被摔下去了。弟兄胜过它，是因羔羊的血和自己所见证的道。他们虽至于死，也不爱惜性命（启12：10，11）。 感谢 神，使我们藉着我们的主耶稣基督得胜（林前15：57）。 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested； that he might destroy the works of the devil。

虚空的虚空，凡事都是虚空（传1：2）。 我们度尽的年岁，好像一声叹惜。我们一生的年日是七十岁，若是强壮可到八十岁；但其中所矜夸的不过是劳苦愁烦，转眼成空，我们便如飞而去（诗90：9，10）。 我们若靠基督只在今生有指望，就算比众人更可怜（林前15：19）。我们在这里本没有长存的城，乃是寻求那将来的城（来13：14）。因我耶和华是不改变的（玛3：6）。我们却是天上的国民，并且等候救主，就是主耶稣基督。他要按着那能叫万有归服自己的大能，将我们这卑贱的身体改变形状，和他自己荣耀的身体相似（腓3：20，21）。因为受造之物服在虚空之下，不是自己愿意，乃是因那叫他如此的（罗8：20）。 耶稣基督昨日今日一直到永远，是一样的（来13：8）。圣哉，圣哉，圣哉，主 神是昔在、今在、以后永在的全能者（启4：8）！ Vanity of vanities； all is vanity。 We spend our years as a tale that is told。 The days of our years are threescore years and ten； and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years； yet is their strength labour and sorrow； for it is soon cut off； and we fly away。 If in this life only we have hope in Christ； we are of all men most miserable。 — Here have we no continuing city； but we seek one to e。 — I am the LORD； I change not。 — Our conversation （citizenship） is in heaven； from when
