那眼目如火焰的 神之子（启2：18）。
人心比万物都诡诈，坏到极处，谁能识透呢？我耶和华是鉴察人心、试验人肺腑的，要照各人所行的和他作事的结果报应他（耶17：9，10）。你将我们的罪孽摆在你面前，将我们的隐恶摆在你面光之中（诗90：8）。主转过身来看彼得。……他就出去痛哭（路22：6l，62）。耶稣却不将自己交托他们，因为他知道万人；也用不着谁见证人怎样，因他知道人心里所存的（约2：24，25）。

耶和华本为善，在患难的日子为人的保障，并且认得那些投靠他的人（鸿1：7）。 要称谢万军之耶和华，因耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存（耶33：11）。 神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时的帮助（诗46：1）。我要论到耶和华说：他是我的避难所，是我的山寨，是我的 神，是我所倚靠的（诗9l：2）。谁像你这蒙耶和华所拯救的百姓呢？他是你的盾牌，帮助你，是你威荣的刀剑（申33．29）。至于 神，他的道是完全的；耶和华的话，是炼净的。凡投靠他的，他便作他们的盾牌。除了耶和华，谁是神呢？除了我们的 神，谁是磐石呢（撒下22：31，32）？ 若有人爱 神，这人乃是 神所知道的（林前8：3）。神坚固的根基立住了。上面有这印记说：主认识谁是他的人。又说：凡称呼主名的人总要离开不义（提后2：19）。耶和华知道义人的道路，恶人的道路却必灭亡（诗1：6）。你在我眼前蒙了恩，并且我按你的名认识你（出33：17）。 The Lord is good； a strong hold in the day of trouble； and he knoweth them that trust in him。 Praise the LORD of hosts： for the Lord is good； for his mercy endureth for ever。 — God is our refuge and strength； a very present help in trouble。 — I will say of the LORD； He is my refuge and my fortress： my God； in him will I
